I can’t believe it’s almost been a year since it closed. So many memories in that place.
R.I.P. Cafe Metro
Childhood in a nut shell
I went to my first show here nearly two years ago. Where has the time gone?
I spent three or four years of my life in this place. Some of my favorite memories are in that building.
Fuck. I miss you.
I had so many great times here. This is still terribly depressing.
My very first show was here,it sucks that its gone so much.
For 10 years of my life, I spent every single weekend here (not to mention many weekdays). Many of my best memories were made here. This place was a DIY landmark for music, movies, and art. I will be forever bitter about the way this place was disregarded as a blight on the city because it didn’t turn large profits like the dance clubs and bars that it shared a street with and it’s patrons had tattoos and beat the shit out of neo-Nazis when they showed up. RIP.
